Don Carr is a Canadian artist who focuses on visual exploration of historical myths and symbolism. Printmaking grounds Carr’s multi-media artistic practice and informs his continued experimentations with colour and imagery. Over the last 8 years of his printmaking practice, Carr has been working collaboratively with Laine Groeneweg to produce an array of variable copperplate etchings that demonstrate his ongoing commitment to the intaglio process.

Ecosphere is a transfer drawing on mylar, the imagery of which Carr revisited as a base for variable explorations in copperplate etching.
