Roger Mooking

Trinidadian-born and Canadian-raised, Roger Mooking is a multi-disciplinary artist, Juno Award-winning musician, celebrated chef and author whose practice moves fluidly across visual art, music, storytelling, and culinary culture. He is Grey County’s first Creative Director overseeing design direction and rebranding, and is the Founder / Creative Director of Rocklands Market where he hosts arts, wellness and culinary retreats.

Mooking has been celebrated nationally for his various large-format art installations and his acclaimed SoundBites Exhibition that was presented at the Art Gallery of Hamilton in 2024, and will begin touring nationally in the fall of 2026.
