Tyler Bright Hilton’s prints and drawings centre around a fictionalized protagonist: Minmei Madelynne Pryor. She is the one constant within thematic interests that shift with each new project. Consistent throughout his work is an attempt to create morally complex imagery that balances unpredictable and conflicting moods; at once earnest and ironic, aesthetic and grotesque, with the goal of pictures that frustrate intellectual readings while rewarding emotional responses.
