
Smokestack is pleased to present a conversation between exhibiting artist, Finn O’Hara, and Craig D’Arville, arts communication consultant, Co-founder of FFOTO online art platform, and dedicated Canadian arts community supporter. This conversational tour of O’Hara’s current exhibition will offer further insight into the inspiration, areas of exploration, and creative processes behind his Southern Lights project.

Finn O’Hara is a Canadian commercial photographer & director and fine artist based in Toronto, ON. His international award-winning commercial portfolio spans athlete portraiture, brand campaigns and storytelling with leading names in sports and culture. His fine-art photography is held in the permanent collections of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, the Scotiabank Fine Art Collection, the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro, and number private collections in Canada, the United States, England and Brazil.
Craig D’Arville is an active contributor to Canada’s visual arts community, with more than 25 years’ experience in communications and development roles at both non-profit organizations and in the private sector. D’Arville is Co-founder of FFOTO online art platform and his volunteer contributions have included serving on the board of directors and BIPOC Photo Mentorship Program with Gallery TPW, participation on the curatorial committees for the annual Art with Heart and SNAP fundraisers, and on event committees at the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery.
