Lengths presents a solo-exhibition of a new series of prints by Hamilton-based artist David Trautrimas. Collaboratively created during his time in the studio as a Smokestack Analog Print Residency participant, the featured works on display demonstrate Trautrimas’ expansive development into the technical and visual possibilities of cyanotype: a wholly new process within his professional practice.

David Trautrimas explores contemporary cultural phenomena in a multi-media practice encompassing sculpture, installation, photography, and printmaking. Oscillating between abstracted and representational renderings, his works have examined those popular icons, ordinary objects and architectural spaces that influence and inform every-day life. His work has been the subject of numerous public exhibitions in Canada and internationally in the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
