Come to my House was created on occasion of Yael’s 2021 exhibition at Smokestack Gallery, Sandbags round my life. The print carries forward her more recent conceptions of what ‘architecture’ could be derived from her experiences living in social isolation during the months of the global pandemic. Architecture as not only encompassing the physical structures that support and shelter us, but also the social connections with friends, family, and our communities at large that offer some of the most fundamental elements of protection.
