On the occasion of her solo-exhibition, Trail Blaze: Coming Home at Smokestack Gallery, we printed a  special exhibition-edition print with Liss Platt in the Smokestack Analog Studio With creation of Hot Oven Grinders, Liss extended her interest in matchbooks with the design of her own matchbook graphic based on fond memories of a cherished culinary pastime.

As this unique graphic was translated into a larger, 7-layer silkscreen printed pattern, her explorations of the form also resulted in production and assembly of life-sized matchbooks too captivating to resist collection of themselves.
