In the development of his new body of print works, Hamilton artist David Trautrimas considers the everyday objects with, and through which, life happens. A Developing Null acknowledges common items as both stand-ins for human presence, and objects that have the independent capacity to interact with, and influence, the space around them. All works in this exhibition have been created by laser engraved printmaking.

David Trautrimas has widely exhibited his work in Canada and internationally in the United States, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, and Australia. Recent presentations include solo-exhibitions at Angell Gallery (Toronto), Assembly Gallery (Hamilton) and Zalucky Contemporary (Toronto), while his work has also been included in group exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Gardiner Museum (Toronto), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Toronto), and the Harbour Front Centre (Toronto) among others.

Trautrimas is also a co-founder of the local community based initiative, Art Spin Hamilton.
